The party went by in blur, Martins mood change after the news he heard, Joy noticed but felt its not time to talk about it with the party on. Luckily around 1 am the people all left and her parents went to bed, George wanted Martins to stay in his room but their mother already told Martins to stay in the guest room downstairs.
When everywhere is calm and Joy is sure everybody have slept off he decided to call Martins, he picked after the second ring.
"Hello" he said and relieve rushed over Joy.
"You mood change after hearing the news, don't let it bother you" she said sounding desperate "you are not even an option, you are the only one for me" she said, she pacified Martins by saying he is not an option. He smiled
"Am not worried love" he said, but that's not enough to convince Joy,
"I need to see with my eyes" she said and her throat went dry with idea of seeing Martins.
"So you mean you want me to come out" he said and moved towards his door,
"Yes" she said and walked towards her door too, Martins unlocked his own by her word. He stepped out, looked up and saw Joy standing on the stairway, she look beautiful even in her night wear. For a moment Martins lost words to say.
"If this is a love movie, they would be a beautiful theme song playing" he said, Joy giggled
"And? " she asked
"And I will be will be walking slowly towards you" he said and started his short walk to love.
"And"
"I will then be thinking, how on earth is she this beautiful, and as I walk closer the theme gets higher, soaring the heart of the audience" he said, he is now just a foot away.
"If this is a love story, then its a perfect one" she said and went forward,
"Is this a dream?, pinch me so I will know" Martins said, cause since he saw her, she have only been in his arms in dreams, so he think, this is also one of it.
Joy smiled and moved her hand to pinch him but stopped midway "am afraid if its a dream then we are both having the same dream, so if I pinch you we might wake up. I for one don't want that" she said,
"Make that the two of us" he said and claimed her lips in a passionate kiss, who ever live his life without tasting love, even if he live to be a hundred never truly lived, for life without love is just existence and not living.
They broke the kiss, and enjoys the moment, Joy don't want to let go, she held on to Martins
"Will you stay with me tonight" she said, that's the most tempting offer.
"But your parents"
"I know, just stay till I fall asleep, then you can go, I know my family nobody will notice" she said
"If you're trying to seduce me love, know its not.. " Joy didn't let him finish and placed her finger on his lips.
"Just cuddling is enough" she said and Martins smiled and went inside with her. She lay on her bed with Martins behind her, she made sure to glue herself with Martins, with his arm drape on her.
"During my younger days, every night I lay on my bed, light of the moon hovering over my head, and dreams of impossible made possible. A thousand world of fantasy. Its all beautiful like fairytale" she said and turned around facing Martins "but no dream then is as perfect as you lying on my bed together with me" she said, "you mister, have just made my world a fairytale" she said and Martins kissed her, showing her what she means to him in a single kiss, a tear leaves her eyes, never have she imagine shedding tears while kissing.
"Sing me a lullaby" she said when they broke the kiss
"I don't know what to sing" he said
"You are smart, just sing anything" she urged him, and Martins rack his brain for a song but came up with only one
"I have one, I don't know if you will like it" he said
"I love anything from you" she said with a smile, then Martins cleared his throat.
"Twinkle twinkle little star" he said and Joy smiled, and cuddle tighter
"How I wonder what you are,
Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in my sky.

Joy my beautiful lady shines
All above everyone else
She is a blessing in my life" he stopped
"Perfect, keep singing" she said feeling sleepy already, so Martins continued till she fell asleep. Not long after she slept in the comfort of Martins arms, when he is sure she is deep asleep, he left but made sure nobody saw him.
He left the next morning after helping the family arrange the house, Joy made sure she brush her hand against Martins anytime she passes him, which is regularly. The make funny faces at each other whenever they get the chance, they're both hopelessly in love without knowing the tide is about to change.
