             She rushed quickly to her father side, he is now lying in pool of blood gasping for air, she held him as tears ran down her cheek
"What have I done" she said, she took her phone and dial Mr Uba number, its normal that in our time of distress we call who we rely on the most, and for Mirabel its Mr Uba.
"Hello stranger" he said as he picked up
"Come quick my dad have been shot" she said between tears, and all playfulness left Mr Uba voice
"Where are you at" he asked
"At home" she answered wiping her tears
"I will be there" he said cutting the call, she went back to her dad to put pressure on the blood
"Its my fault, I should have been more careful" she said,
"No dear, its not" her father said, and it was unexpected but good from her side of view "am sorry for leaving your mother and you" tears left his eyes, he is in pain its written on his face
"We forgive you" she said, her hand its now bloody and she pays no attention to Amanda, luckily she really gave her a hard knockout
"I cant make the dinner for mother now" he said with a weak smile
"You will when you get better" she said "she will be happy, I will be happy" she said, she fears he might not make it
"If children shines like stars in heaven" he said and touched her cheek "you are the sun, my sun, cause you shine the brightest"
"And you are my heaven" she said
"There is no prouder father, you are my little girl, I love you, take care of your mother" he said nd took his last breath
"Dad, dad, dad" she called and listened to his heart but no heartbeat "NO" she screamed, that's the moment Mr Uba walked in, the sight gave him goosebumps, he called the hospital when he hung up and also the police, he was still consoling Mirabel when the medic arrived and the police.
               Mirabel was in no state to answer any question, so Mr Uba shielded her from the police, she watched as they confirmed her father dead, she have hated him all these years, but now she have started loving him, fate struck
