Mirabel was really happy how everything went, she have never felt so welcomed before, she felt free, Amara kept bragging about her, even Amaka came by with her own family, they all were welcoming and she loved it
Today is monday, she is alone at home, she stopped working after the accident, she wanted to resume today but her parents refused, Mr Uba also refused, so she is now alone at home bored out of her head. She was drifting off to sleep when she heard a knock, she the limped to the door to open it.
"Iyke" she said surprisingly, she have never heard from him again since she turned him down, she thinks he is still angry

"Nothing, I just came to visit you, I heard of the accident" he said looking at her injured leg
"Thanks, am fine now, God is great in my life" she said, feeling relieved that he have let bygones be bygones
"You think you would be at peace after you broke my heart" he said with a scary look, his voice sent shiver down her spine suddenly she is afraid of being alone with him
"Thought I made it clear, and I never broke your heart and we have nothing together" she said firmly but her heart is behaving the opposite
"I would have made you happy" he said, but with his current character, Mirabel know for sure that she will never be happy with him
"Leave my house" she said pointing at the door, when he made no move, she walked to the door as fast as her leg could let her, which is not very fast, on get at the door she then turn to ask him one more time, Iyke is already behind him. As she turned he held her by the neck and slam her against the door
"You think I will just leave" he asked in a low tone tightening his grip on her neck
