Some of the school teachers are here, Amara seems to be the only student, he wondered why.
"How was it" the father was first to ask
The doctor took a deep breath "she is alright, she have two broken ribs, a cut above the eyes and dislocation on her left knee, she needs rest and some medication with time she will be all better" he said we all felt relieved, Janet knelt down and started offering praise to God, Amara joined her, they were like family
"When can we go see her" Mr Uba asked,
"Families can go see her, but she is still sleeping though" he said and excused himself
"Go on" I told her parents giving them the chance to see them first, she took Amara with her, she is also happy for that.
"Why did you bring my daughter with you" I asked the school proprietor once my daughter was gone
"She insisted, and kept crying, so we have no other choice" he said, in a mild tone
Mr Uba could understand, her daughter is so attached to Mirabel like she is her mother and he is certainly glad for that.
"She look alright dad" Amara said as she came out, she now have smile on her face
"Is she" Mr Uba asked
"Yea, though with bruises but she is breathing, she is strong" she said then yawn, she is now tired, luckily Mr Uba have already call his sister to come take her.
"This is my sister Amaka" he introduced her to Mirabel parents, they exchange pleasantries, Mr Uba smiled inwardly knowing they will soon become in-laws
"Come let's go" she said to Amara, after Mr Uba have briefed everything to her, so she left with Amara knowing that her brother will soon introduce Mirabel to the family, the school teachers also left with her.
"You can go see her" Mirabel father said to him, he needed his approval, and he just got it, so he gave him a thankful smile I went to see Mirabel with a fast beating heart. His heart sunk as he took in her features.
